Just got this set up today. I am not a "techy" person but I found it very easy to use and set up. Once receiving you must download the app Adorcam and the app walks you through what to do on your phone using QR code's you just scan with your camera to make things easier. You do need to make sure to buy an SD card, they recommend SanDisk 64 with this or it will only take pictures rather than being able to record video (although you can still watch video live in the app and it will take pictures of any events). I also like that you can set how sensitive you want it to be to motion on a continuum from very sensitive to average sensitivity, to low sensitivity or anywhere in between. It does say you need 2.4G HZ internet connection (not 5G HZ) so that is something to note. Overall I found the product very user friendly and easy to set up and so far it has been working great. Would recommend! If I encounter any issues later on I will update this review.

This is my first camera, so I was really excited when it came. I read everything and followed all the instructions. I had to download an app as well. But back to the camera, every time some is on my porch, my camera lets me know, I go check and I can speak to that person right from the kitchen from my phone, I see them real clean. It picks up all the sounds from outside, so I hear birds chirping and dogs barking. I like it a lot. It's easy to install. I would buy another for the back yard later, cause the price is great. I also like that I can see when it's time to charge it from my phone on the app, the battery last for awhile. I charged it the night before putting it up and checked it three days later and it was on like 98% so I really thought that was a plus. The night vision, and picture quality is great. It didn't take me long to figure it out, it's so easy to use.

This little camera right here has been absolutely phenomenal!! I purchased it right before going on a road trip (as you can see by all my luggage in the pics) and so I got it in time to install it, which took less than 5 minutes, and the wifi set up only about 2-3 minutes. I left my little neighbors the house keys and in charge of taking care of my dogs, so this was the perfect camera to keep an eye on things while I was away. Little did I know (due to my lack of reading) all the extra perks that come with this baby!

The visual is amazing. Full on clarity and quality, not just in full color, but also in the grayscale night vision mode. I was able to keep an eye every now and then on how my dogs were doing and that the girls were doing the job I agreed to pay them $10 an hour to do. Well, I couldn't just see, I could also hear, and from the sound of it, everything went great! Very clear sound and immediate response time, even when I was over 600 miles away and my then current location's internet sucked. I could hear the girls had doubts about something, and as I look at the feedback on my phone, I see a little microphone button in the middle. Well, little did I know I could just press that little sucker and actually talk to them in real time, too! And the sound was so clear and no lag in time. I was able to clear up their questions in the moment and everything went smoothly.

It was lovely to see that every time the camera detected movement, it recorded, and the playback is always available free of charge! I just installed one of my mini SD cards with 128gb and so I get to keep a record of everything. Also, I get notifications on my phone every time there's motion detected, and you have the option of silencing those notifications in up to 12 hour increments. What I enjoyed the most is that I never got notifications for my dogs moving around their cages, because those are minimal movements. However I did get notifications for when they walked in the house, throughout the time they were there, and when they left. This worked out perfectly! The recording were done in 10 second increments so it was very accurate. Since I was paying them by the hour, I was able to go back to my recordings day by day, add up the time based on the motions and recordings, and pay them what they were owed down to the exact dollar! This was beautiful! They were happy campers, as was I!!

Lastly, I absolutely love that it can be wireless! Of course, I keep it plugged in at all times using an extra extension cord to reach my outlet, but if I wanted it more discreet I can also use it wirelessly. The only thing I can't vouch for is how long the battery will last per charge, but that won't be necessary for me anyway. This way I can keep a proper and continuous surveillance of my entryway without any missing dates or times.

I have zero reservations regarding this camera. It is absolutely phenomenal, amazing picture and sound quality, proper motion detection, excellent and crisp night vision, and a wonderful app to keep it all together for future playbacks. It breaks things down for you to a great extent. It even tells me when my recordings are due to Motion, due to a Human in the room, or due to PIR, which I can only assume means Pets In Room, but I could be wrong. I can share my recordings, and I can also share my camera as a whole with other family members if they just download the app. This Alkivision camera is definitely the one! Trust me when I say I was taken aback by its performance considering the price point, but when I say it's better than my name brand products, I mean it! Just don't hesitate and buy it; You won't regret it!

UPDATE: So a few months ago I accidentally knocked the power USB-C cable and because it was hooked, the force broke the cable and so i was left with no power source. Or so I thought. I had forgotten that technically this camera is supposed to also run on battery, and while before I couldn't attest to its greatness, now I can certainly tell you that on a full charge, this camera can last you a whopping WHOLE MONTH solely on battery power. I was amazed!! I did have to end up buying a new cable later on, but this was much after the battery had eventually run out after a whole month of no physical connection to a plug.

The camera was really easy to set up and came charged!

It's super easy to setup… the accompanying app is user-friendly. You can change the sensitive of the motion detection so you don't get alerted by bugs or leaves and It includes a calendar with snapshots of every movement with options to share or download each picture (which could be videos if I put in a SD card), so if anything does happen, you'll have the photo of the event.

the main page of the app gives an easy way to name the device and add multiple devices — or share the single camera alerts with multiple people in the home. You can even turn alerts off when your home and there is a help page with a live chat I tested out… customer service replied within 2 min and answered my questions.

The picture quality is impressive, even the night vision considering there is very little light where i need it.

I'm happy I went for the mid-price range and got a camera with lots of settings… totally worth the money.

I love this camera. The picture quality is amazing. There is aa app that you download on the phone and can hear sound from the camera as well as speak through the camera as well. If you do not have an SD card it will still capture photos of the area. I have this at my front door and REALLY am happy that I have it there. i don't have to go to the door not knowing who is there. This camera is great. It has even survived the storms and still going. The battery. life is terrific. It took less than 20 minutes to install and it was super easy.
